Here I am, sooo happy to introduce this amazing collaboration I did recently with a good friend of mine Megan from Sweet Sauce Blog. For this occasion we had the opportunity to style three different looks for one of my favorite resale stores in Richmond named Clothes Mentor.
For many of you probably is something pretty common to buy second hand clothes but when I moved to Richmond almost 3 years ago I was not into it as much as I am now. I basically got into second hand not to break my bank as a style blogger :-), and I really think I found a way to blend it into my wardrobe! Shopping in a second hand shop can be overwhelming because all kinds of clothes and trends can be found on the same rack. Not so for Clothes Mentor because they have a great selection of clothes based on the size (from 0-26), type (maternity clothes and styles from 20 and up) and colors. I’m obsessed with perfect order jajaja and so this resale store really gets me good! I think it’s fantastic and helpful when you wanna go and try to find a specific piece. They also have a great handbag selection, which is my favorite thing to buy there!
Anyways, for Megan and I was important to show that it doesn’t matter if you buy something out of season, the important thing is to buy something that you like so you would always have the change to style it with (probably new) accessories that will bring out your own fashion trends. So we went to the store and that’s what we found…
In this case we decided to pick something that would go with the endless print trend. Both dresses showed that you could rock a cool and fresh Summer outfit for day and night adding the right accessories. Megan opted for adding wedges and a colorful tote bag from Michael Kors making her look amazing for the office or going out for drinks with friends at night.
For me was a no-brainer jajaja, right now I’m so into finding clothes that match my hair color so I was lucky to find this dress that has little details in magenta that goes perfect with it. You already know that I can’t get enough of Kate Spade so I was so happy to find this amazing bag at the store so I could style it with the entire outfit. Keeping the pop of color with my orange heels.
You don’t want to missed this opportunity to come and visit the store I’m talking about. There are tons of amazing clothes for this Summer season in excellent prices. The stores are located it on 11404 W Broad St, Glen Allen, VA 23060 and 1080 Virginia Center Pkwy Suite 105, Glen Allen, VA 23059. You will get 20% off standard items and 10% off designer brands through 7/31/16 as a special deal for the ones that go and show this post. 😛
